Fall in Minnesota

I had a wonderful short weekend in MN celebrating my friend Katie's wedding. The weather could not have been more beautiful  for the big day- it was a packed but very fun weekend.

Cousins

L and I were able to be together this past spring when she was visiting Minnesota. We had just started dreaming up our blog and what we wanted it to be. These are our first blog photos together, but only some of the many that we have taken throughout our lives. Welcome to A&L

Welcome to A & L! Angela and I are cousins and best friends who wanted to create this blog to showcase our love for {affordable} fashion and our love for the little things in our everyday life.

Growing up in a close knit extended family, Angela and I spent a lot of time together. As little girls we invented “Pretty Girls”, the act of dressing up in beautiful dress up clothes {primarily found at garage sales}, including pretty jewels and high heels of course. After dressing our best, we would pack the rest of our gorgeous things for our grand adventure. Destinations would include the Caribbean, Europe, and the ever popular Florida vacation!

Our love for the pretty things in life has continued as we share a love for fashion, home interiors, DIY projects, and cooking/baking. This blog is meant to keep us close despite our physical distance (I live in Seattle and Angela lives in Minneapolis) and to showcase the pretty things that we find in the world around us.
