Anniversary Getaway {Lifestyle}

I hope you all had a great week last week. P and I just got back from our annual weeklong anniversary getaway to the cabin. We had such a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful creation, going on hikes, eating good food, exploring the lake, and just being together. I'm so thankful for my husband and best friend! Our dear friends came up for the weekend and it was so special spending time with them too. There's something pretty wonderful about cabin time shared with those you love.

4th of July Getaway {Lifestyle}

P and I just got back late last night from a long fourth of July cabin trip with my family. It has been so long since all of us have been together in one place for a couple days so we all just soaked up every minute of it. We adventured down the Brule River, hiked up one of the palisades on Clearwater Lake, cliff jumped, played whiffle ball off the dock, cooked, went boating and fishing, and laughed a ton. Family times together are incredibly special, and this long weekend is one I will remember forever! Have an amazing day everyone.

We just got back from a wonderful long weekend away at our cabin with P's parents. We had an amazing weekend away together and I will cherish the memories forever. We left early Friday morning and enjoyed lunch at Angry Trout in Grand Marais. We then made our way up the trail to the cabin, spending our days relaxing, hiking, cooking, photographing each sunrise, and enjoying one another's company. On Sunday we took the boat and went on a little adventure to a nearby lake. We found the sweetest little river that we fished down, followed by body rafting down a stream, and non-stop catching of small little bass :) Have a great day everyone!

Spring Cabin Getaway {Lifestyle}

Last weekend P and I headed north with my parents to get our cabin ready for summer. We tried the new Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais on our way up the trail on Friday night and absolutely loved it. Saturday was a gorgeous day, so we laid on the dock reading, relaxing, and enjoying being together - my favorite things about the cabin. We made some delicious pomegranate mojitos and corn on the grill for dinner (recipes coming soon to the blog). On Sunday we hit up our favorite Sydney's Custard for my favorite ice cream treat - a raspberry and heath sydnami :) I cannot wait for summer, which for me starts today! Have a great day everyone.
