Talk about getting creative! This challenge has helped me do just that- its been a fun journey seeing unexpected combinations come together with the pieces I chose. Although, I will be happy to get back to a little more variety this past month has helped me truly value classic  pieces-  they really are the foundation of a fabulous wardrobe.

Day 19 'Fall Essentials Challenge'

The "Fall Essentials Challenge' will be coming to an end this week but I'm determined to end the week strong with some really fun looks. This one in particular is one of my favorites, I recently added my final 23rd piece, Old Navy's Rock Star grey denim and could not be more pleased with them. I had to try several styles and sizes before finalizing my selection but it was well worth the time and patiance. The Rock Star's are comfortable and at a price point of $34 (not on sale!) you really cannot go wrong. If you are looking to add some cute, comfortable, and inexpensive pieces to your fall wardrobe I highly recommend making a stop at Old Navy! Here are some things I'm currently eyeing from their latest collection- flannel button down, glasses shirt, poncho, & heels!

Day 16 'Fall Essentials Challenge'

I cannot believe the versatility of this Zara dress. I bought it at the beginning of the summer and had no idea how well it would transition into fall. I paired it with my favorite jeweled collared shirt - honestly if I could have jewels on all of my button downs, I would do it in a heart beat, I love the feminine touch it gives to a look. Are there any summer favorites in your wardrobe that have taken you into these chilly months?

Day 14 'Fall Essentials Challenge'

Monday always seems to come one day too soon, especially when you had a perfect weekend! Who's with me?

A and I are over half way through our 23 day challenge and although I love mixing and matching my wardrobe, using only 23 pieces in order to do it has in fact been a challenge. I've had to get creative in my mixing and I've grown to love the look of a sweater (mine is cropped but I love the idea of an over sized one as well) over a dress. My favorite part about this look is the way the sweater plays down the dress making it a super comfy weekend look.
