Spring Cabin Getaway {Lifestyle}

Last weekend P and I headed north with my parents to get our cabin ready for summer. We tried the new Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais on our way up the trail on Friday night and absolutely loved it. Saturday was a gorgeous day, so we laid on the dock reading, relaxing, and enjoying being together - my favorite things about the cabin. We made some delicious pomegranate mojitos and corn on the grill for dinner (recipes coming soon to the blog). On Sunday we hit up our favorite Sydney's Custard for my favorite ice cream treat - a raspberry and heath sydnami :) I cannot wait for summer, which for me starts today! Have a great day everyone.

My Best Friends Wedding {Lifestyle}

On February 28, my sister and best friend married the love of her life. It was a "destination" wedding up north on Lake Superior at Lutsen Resort, and it couldn't have been more perfect! L was able to come into town, along with so many other friends and family - it was truly humbling to see them all in one place :) From the bachelorette party where all of her girlfriends from every stage of life were there to celebrate her. To the gorgeous resort full of much to explore and many adventures to be had. To finally the day itself, surrounded by beloved friends and family. There are no words to adequately describe how I felt on that day, my heart continues to overflow as I reflect on it; God is good! It was truly the happiest I have ever seen my sister, and is a week I will never forget!

North Shore

We are up at the beautiful Lutsen Resort on Lake Superior preparing for my sisters' wedding on Saturday. We are enjoying relaxing by the fire, exploring the icy shore, and being together as a family.  We can't wait for everyone to arrive in the coming days. It feels incredibly special to be celebrating on the north shore, our favorite place in the world.
