P and I love pizza, it is one of our favorite foods! So when my sister recently shared this recipe with me from Bon Appetit (a fabulous magazine, you should ask for it for Christmas if you don't already get it monthly) we were so excited to try it out. This old-school pizza is hands down the most delicious pizza I have ever made at home...seriously! Making the crust the night before and having the ability to make the sauce and prepare ingredients ahead of time make this the perfect dish to share at your next cocktail or holiday party, or for a fun weeknight in. I have learned that having amazing crust is the ticket from taking good pizza to incredible pizza, along with homemade sauce, fresh ingredients, and high cooking temperature. We used one pound of italian sausage, red onions, and mozzarella for our toppings, but the options are endless. Happy entertaining everyone!
