Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays, not necessarily because of the romantic piece tied to it (although I do love getting dolled up and going out with P), but rather it gives me something to look forward to during the dead of winter, and it is a great excuse to shower love on those around me. I also have sweet, fond memories of growing up with heart shaped waffles, little valentine presents, and an amazing meal shared with my parents.
