Sparkly Easter Eggs {DIY}

The inspiration for this post came from a conversation I was having with one of my girlfriends a couple weeks ago. We were both commenting on our lack of spring decorations, specifically for Easter. Afterwards I was left feeling very inspired to create some pretty and easy DIY projects for spring. These sparkly Easter eggs are a fun way to bring a seasonal touch to your table this spring.

Items Needed: glitter (I personally love the pretty Martha Stewart glitters), fake eggs, Modge Podge, and foam brushes.

Start by making sure you have something covering your table, the fine glitter can get stuck in very small nooks and crannies. Then brush an even amount of Modge Podge over the entire egg.

Sprinkle the glitter of your choice over the entire egg, making sure a cup is beneath to catch all the extra glitter.

Continue covering as many eggs as you desire with glitter. I chose to use soft pastels and spring type colors.

As you see from above, there were a few bare spots that were created from where my fingers were holding on to the egg. Let the Modge Podge and glitter completely dry, then go back over the bare spots with more Modge Podge and glitter.

With Love,
A
